To Buy The Nike Dunk Low Vintage Green

Twice a year, Nike ACG delivers a new seasonal collection of footwear and matching apparel that continues to stay atop the outdoor techwear trends. Hokas Shoes Whether you prefer this style for the lifestyle appeal or actual utility doesn’t change the fact that ACG’s revival has been applause-worthy to say the least, and the ACG Mountain Fly (designed by Nathan Van Hook) specifically is proof that modern day design has plenty of white space to fill. This latest colorway of the Mountain Fly’s SE trim blends in perfectly with the outdoors, with hits of ironstone, malt, and iron ore presenting a package that blends in with rocky trails. Hits of a dusty purple also lends to that classic Mowabb appeal, while orange is hidden on the outsole on the ACG logo.

Through 2021, customizers and hobbyist-level DIYers have leaned heavily on the vintage aesthetic. Some have taken to dipping their Air Force 1s in coffee for that aged, yellowed look, while others meticulously apply chalky edges and distressing to their own creations. Though a little late, Nike, too, is joining in on the craze with their Dunk Low “Vintage Green.” In terms of its colorway, the pair mirrors the “Varsity Green” that released last Summer.Air Jordan 1 Fearless  The materials, however, are a stark departure from the more ordinary, modern pair, as the colored overlays sport a subtle patina. This finish is not present along the white base nor the nylon tongue, though the laces and midsole are dressed in “Sail” to further emulate older offerings. What’s more, the lining is not your average mesh but a seemingly softer, ribbed textile.

With Louis De Guzman’s latest New Balance collaboration, the Filipino-American artist is honoring his mother, who would arrange floral bouquets for craft shows across the Chicagoland area. Entitled “Ma Divina,” this color-rich take on the 574 is a rose-tinted lens into Guzman’s childhood, which ultimately inspired his now burgeoning artistic career. “As a child, my mother would attend local craft shows and put her creative flow to work to help make ends meet,” Guzman stated. “It was her way to openly express herself and share the Menairshoes  inner thought process through her various love of DIY crafts and flower arrangements. Her love for detail and exposing me to that energy as a child helped broaden my perspective and amplified the artistry that I’m beyond humbled to be continuing to put forth each and every day.” The colorway mirrors the work of Guzman’s mother, though the petals are swapped out for leather and suede. Floral in essence, the 574-shaped bouquet joins hits of violet with a light, sky blue, while brighter pinks complement along the heel tab and the rim of the tongue. Orange shades, then, highlight the “N” logo along the side, marking a high note of a palette rounded out by neutrals by a neutral-dressed base, midsole, and the like.
