Runescape And Outriders aren't games that players will imagine playing in tandem so the sight of a Runescape player post on r/Outriders can be quite a surprise RuneScape Gold. But, it did lead to an enjoyable post and interaction between players of either or both games. The whole thing boils down to a single old Jagex Employee: David Osborne, otherwise well-known in the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.
Osborne recently posted on LinkedIn that he was leaving Jagex after fifteen years of editing content in narrative design, as well as lead design. The move was a decision he took according to his own words, to "test his knowledge with the rest of the field." Osborne is leaving Jagex and going straight into Square Enix on the publishing side as a Senior Designer. He'll oversee "some fantastic games," starting with Outriders.
This information prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to contact members of r/Outriders with an easy message on Mod Osborne and his role as the "warm warm, welcoming "Dad" face of Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes everything that Osborne has contributed to the community over the years, with a focus on clips, such as performing as Mod Elfborne in order to promote Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) as well as joining livestreams, and helping alongside the vision of the company.
Although some communities or players are upset over losing a recognizable company face, FatNWackyRS invited other Runescape players to discuss their experiences. One of the commenters declares that they've lost and won in their time playing at both Runescape along with Outriders. Others were delighted by the announcement Old School RS Gold, even those who hadn't interacted with Osborne before, thanks to this enthusiastic endorsement from one of the Runescape community.
