A video-game studio Jagex is RuneScape gold most likely to be famous for its huge Runescape collection, but many are unaware that the studio has been expanding its services into the realm of publishing and even tabletop gaming.

Jagex recently announced that it has signed a deal with indie game developer Outlier Games to publish the company's first game, which is the spaceship management Roguelike This Means Warp. The game is set to release on PC through Steam Early Access on March 17.

Created with replayability and multiplayer in mind, This Means Warp encourages players to play together and to think tactically in hectic, live-time space battles. use shrewd strategies in order to navigate their spacecraft through an infuriating, procedurally generated universe.

Based on roguelikes, such as FTL and games for parties like Overcooked The game Means Warp sees players control crew members aboard the ship, operating various systems, targeting weapons and making repairs, and finally making a plan for the dark and dangerous space.

To find out more about Jagex's decision to publish This Means Warp, we spoke to Outlier Games' founders Paul Froggatt and Matt Rathbun, and Lead Product Director for Jagex Robert Fox-Galassi regarding their thoughts on this new partnership.
