World of WoTLK Classic Gold Warcraft wotlk classic: Burning Crusade Releasing
In a thread to the Official WoW Classic forums, Blizzard presented their original rationale for the charge of $35. "This service of providing players with another copy of their character from a different game is first for our players," the post reads. "Our first idea of the worth of this feature was dependent on the way we priced other services and items that are optional. We want players who select Classic Era realms to feel like they're making a choice with the expectation of being able to create a relationship with Warcraft and guilds with other players who they can trust.
However, in the last few days we've received a extensive quantity of positive feedback from players which is why we've taken the decision to reduce the cost. Lower prices will be able to meet our goals using the new service and will allow more players to try the possibility of playing characters in each of the Classic Era and Burning Crusade Classic realms."
The move follows a sustained players' outrage at the price of $35. A number of players said that the price is only five dollars less than the cost of the latest expansion for WoW, wotlk classic. A lot of WoW Classic players have spent many minutes playing with their character and even though many would like to go on with Burning Crusade Classic without looking back but there are many players who want to remain into the doorway to the original Version of WoW Classic should they ever decide to revisit it. For these players, specifically, it felt like Blizzard held their characters in exchange for a $35 ransom.
Although cutting the cost for cloning in half alleviates the pain that several players experienced in the wake of buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold Blizzard's recent Burning Crusade Classic announcements, the game's longer than normal pre-patch time and the controversial microtransactions have left many of the community discontent prior to the Burning Crusade Classic's 1 June release date.
