It's today (January 5) Nex is unleashed on Old School Runescape after 90 percent of the community has endorsed the new update. Players can team up in clans of up 80 players to battle the boss. In accordance with the release, Nex will also allow players to alone on private instances. The instances are unlockable after completing an Hard Combat Achievements tier, at which point you are able to purchase an instance at 150,000 GP for each entry. The higher Combat Achievement tiers lower this cost.
Living in The Ancient Prison beneath the God Wars Dungeon, Nex can only be explored once you have successfully completed the Desert Treasure quest and a miniquest to unlock the Frozen Door. The access point that is iced up has existed since the time that the Dungeon was established, but been kept sealed until now! After entering the Prison players will have to battle through an enormous army (featuring Spiritual Warriors, Mages, Rangers, and Blood Reavers) before reaching Nex herself.
