Hardcore Classic Ladder (the exact same thing as Classic albeit with D2R Ladder Items the added bonus of just having one lifetime), and/or both Classic or Hardcore Ladders that include this game's Lord of Destruction expansion content.
A character created for a particular Ladder are only able to play with others on that Ladder. After the conclusion of the year, Ladder members will transformed into other characters and will also keep any Ladder exclusive items that are in that character's inventory. Items on the Ladder stash will be available until the start in Ladder Season 3 to be returned, lest they become lost forever. The Ladder season is planned to last about four months.
Blizzard will celebrate the game's debut Ladder season with a livestream event that's dubbed The Infernal Race. Various Diablo content creators will be working together and competing with one another as they seek to be at the top of the seasonal leaderboards. The game's inaugural Ladder season comes after the release of the massive patch 2.4 update, which brought major class balance changes, new items and rune words, tweaks to the game's various mercenaries and much more. This is the first major update for Diablo since the patch 1.13c.
Blizzard recently announced its free-to-play Diablo Mobile game Diablo Immortal Cheap D2R Ladder Items, will also be available for PC with cross-progression and cross-platform play. Diablo Immortal is set to launch on in June 2. with the PC version of the game being released as an open beta.
