While there's even more about NBA 2K MT to find, I think this is a good primer on what you may expect from the new version of the sport, but I suppose the remaining question here comes down to how this title is delivered on all of the next-gen systems. Well, the good thing is they're almost identical visually. PS5 and Series X both offer a full native 4K demonstration - it seems super sharp on both the systems and all visuals look the same between these. The PS4 Pro version which I used for last-gen testing, incidentally, also seems to run at native 4K but obviously using decreased visual fidelity. The 1 difference here, predictably, lies with the Series S variant. You receive all the exact same next-gen visuals because it's bigger brother, only at a lower resolution.
I'd say that NBA 2K21 is a really good launch for consoles and a lot more impressive than I expected. While the constraints in the animation are still evident in points, it's the most fluid and realistic-looking basketball game I have ever seen. Visual Concepts has set a high bar here in regards to visual quality and this is just the start, really. Additionally, it is wonderful to see that this version is completely different from the last-gen iteration, indicating they're building from a fresh starting point. I expect we'll continue to find things improve over time and I'll be interested to see how other businesses like EA Sports handle the transition. FIFA 21 has only received its own next-gen upgrade (featuring Frostbite's much-vaunted hair physics, no less) and we are going to be having a look at this shortly.
All Eyes Are On Upcoming Patch
The major issues that were holding The City ago seem to have been addressed. The framerates have improved and contact dunks have been nerfed. Also, the Mamba Mentality badge is not any working correctly. It appears 2K is making its way through a listing of early issues. Among the main areas in need of attention is that the MyNBA mode.2K welcomes franchise style fans' minds with the concepts and reach of this revamped MyLeague attribute. Unfortunately, up to now, the version was plagued with crashes when using custom group designs, rosters, and while scrolling via user-created rosters on the edit Cheap 2K21 MT screen.
