It's not the first time that Blizzard has made changes to WoW Classic. Blizzard recently announced its plans for changes in WoTLK Gold Wrath of the Lich King Classic and appears more comfortable making more drastic modifications in 2022 than when WoW Classic began its launch in 2019 when Blizzard wanted the game to be as accurate a recreation that was the initial version MMORPG as is possible.

While it was released last week, it's now official-- World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King Classic will be released on September 26th.
To mark the occasion and to aid new or returning players looking to re-experience the game's immensely popular expansion for 2008. Blizzard has enabled a bonus XP event on Burning Crusade Classic servers from today until the start of the expansion that is dubbed "Joyous Journeys." The bonus boosts XP gain by 50 percent, which could go a long way towards helping players get their characters set for the launch of the expansion.
The 26th of September could be the day that players begin their journey to northwestern Northrend and work to thwart the forces of the Lich King. However, the expansion's pre patch actually brings an event that is limited in duration with new class additions as well as fresh Wrath of the Lich King servers for those interested as well as the brand-new Death Knight hero class several weeks prior to the expansion's launch. Blizzard has not yet detailed when the pre-patch is scheduled to come into play or how long the event will last, but details are expected to be announced soon.
Wrath of the Lich King Classic will run on the final patch of The original Wrath of the Lich King However, there are some modifications. There won't be an automated dungeon finding tool, for reasons of convenience buy WoTLK Gold, and it's not clear if the game will include quest tracking upon launch as well.
