I first discovered Sophia Grace when looking for bridesmaid dress shops in Edinburgh as I would be visiting family and after already trying two bridal shops where I live and achieving no luck I booked a scheduled appointment last minute at Sophia Grace.
How can you describe your experience at Sophia Grace Couture?
They were very accommodating and friendly whenever we visited and gave us only the experience we wanted. Ines wasn't too pushy or higher the top like certain areas, she paid attention to what I wanted and knew precisely what to choose for me to assist me to find my wedding dress.
Tell us about your dress and the reason why you choose your unique gown
I was very specific using what kind of lace I wanted and the type of straps and fit etc, after trying lots on already I knew precisely what I didn't want. With it also becoming an abroad wedding it needed to be suitable for the exact same thing.
What made you decide upon your selected venue?
Originally I was booked to obtain married at St. Andrews in June 2022 but whenever we managed to continue the holiday between lockdowns we're feeling in love with Lindos in Rhodes and booked it for the wedding the week we got home for May 2022 and it is the best decision we made! Luckily we weren't impacted by Covid at all and also the only reason we changed the date was due to the venue change so can honestly say it had been completely stress-free.
Tell us about your wedding
Getting married abroad was ideal for us because it meant we'd all our closest friends and family to celebrate around in our favorite spot for a whole fourteen days rather than eventually. We also had an allocated wedding organizer who did absolutely everything and was amazing.
There were a lot of things that made your day special, the elements were perfect, and we continued a boat to obtain from the ceremony towards the reception coupled with a saxophonist playing through our BBQ dinner around the beach. I just wish we were able to do it all once again!
Do you've any advice for future brides visiting Sophia Grace Couture?
I would certainly recommend Sophia grace to future brides, I felt amazing during my cheap bridesmaid dresses and loved it much more on your day.
