This could mean that Gardner the highest selected cornerback ever. While this is a critical job, and Detroit would be fearsome by the combination of Gardner and Jeff Odukah (if the latter is healthy), I'm really struggling to see investing an amount that big on a cornerback here.
On the other hand, Kiper is adamant about Derek Stingley Jr. falling all the way to the number. 12 to the Vikings. This is a player who was predicted to be to be in the top 5. I'm sure that fans in Minnesota will be salivating over this, but I'd be stunned if either Sauce reach this level, or Stingley Jr. go this low.
If this were to happen, it would definitely disrupt the Top 10. and it'll be something to watch with interest.
