Fergusson: It's interesting. When you play strongholds, they are D2R Items, in RPG sense, situations where they are in essence private. That's why when you're taken to a stronghold, or when you are attempting to clear the stronghold, it's an private moment. Therefore, you enter with your group and go to fight.
But as soon as you're victorious, this area turns into a social space. It's now something like Joe had said earlier that it could be the town, it may be a dungeon, or it could even be a new point to teleport to, but now the others can be there as well.
And so that idea of getting through and finding every one of these strongholds in private that transform into social spaces that offer benefits to assist you in your journey--new gear and a loop of a dungeon, those sorts of things--[isan entertaining approach to influence the world in the process of playing. How do you integrate this with local events?
Shely Local events are dynamic things that take place in the world at a time. Therefore, if you're exploring the world or perhaps you'll do a quest or maybe you'll stumble upon the dungeon. Or, you could run across a local event. There are a variety of situations that can happen over a period of time.
You could be in the same region and at one time there's an activity while at other times there's none, and what event you might see might be different too. If you're participating in the event, you might be in contact with D2R Ladder Items Buy other players taking part in the event at the moment, as it is a shared world there.
