We spoke to Diablo 4 director Joe Shely and general manager of the Diablo franchise Rod Fergusson about the current situation of Diablo and what their future plans are for Diablo 4. And how the game was designed to achieve them.
It's a busy moment for Diablo. We've seen the release of Immortal and you've also shown some parts about Diablo 4. Rod as the director for the Diablo franchise, can you provide us an update on the temperature of the franchise? What is the current state and where do you think it ought to be?
Rod Fergusson: I think there's never been such a great time to be a Diablo fan or Diablo player. There's Diablo available to play since the beginning of time but even in its most recent season, Season 26. We have cheap D2R Ladder Items 150 million hours of playing.
