NBA 2K has evolved from just another hyped product in the world of games. It's now a moment in culture and the intersection of music, pop culture and sneakers with fashion and of obviously, basketball has lifted the series to levels none other game has surpassed. In its latest version, NBA 2K23. the game made history after announcing J. Cole as the first ever rapper to appear on its cover NBA 2K with the Dreamer Edition. Although it's no surprise that 2K revealed a cover such as this at such a late stage in the rollout, the trend of the game's design probably pointed to this happening one day. Even so, this wasn't even 2K's idea. It was J. Cole's.
