Tell us about the special occasion you'd and the reason why you wanted to wear a designer dress for this.
My special day was my 21st Birthday party. I had invited over 180 of my closest friends and family from all over Australia right down to my beautiful holiday getaway in Lorne, Victoria. Being among the last girls in my group to finally turn 21, I was searching for a designer dress to become the show-stopper dress I had always wanted to be, and Thurley (obviously) delivered.
What maybe it was about this occasion that made renting an outfit so appealing for you personally?
After watching all my friends look drop-dead gorgeous on their big days in the last few years, I was searching for a dress that will not only reflect me and who I am, but additionally be able to take care of the amazing outfits my girls had worn. Renting an outfit was so attractive to me as although I love my fashion and elegance, I tend to only wear beautiful frocks once. I’m not really a huge outfit repeater, so as a University student saw an incredible opportunity to rent a designer dress for which was less than a quarter of their store price.
Tell us about the dress and also the designer label you're considering, and the reason why you chose it.
My dress was the Aphrodite dress through the brand Thurley. The halter neck dress was predominately shades of light blue with silver shimmering discs which had frills across the chest waist and skirt. I adore everything Thurley creates and also have always been built with a huge fascination with their clothing and elegance that appears to always fit my body system shape perfectly. I chose this dress because it completely complemented my personality, and my semi-formal dress code, and was simply stunning.

Have you rented an outfit before or was this the first time?
I have rented dresses before, but haven't rented through GlamCorner until this occasion. I first tried renting an outfit as I had heard a lot of raving reviews. I don’t think anyone could avoid designer dresses for fractions of the price.
