"We understand these D2R Items items complement prominent builds and playstyles cherished by the community," Blizzard writes. "Furthermore we've had members of the community request inclusion of these elements into the single player experience for a while. Players who play solo now can take part in the metas that were popular from the original multiplayer Ladder experience. Additionally, single players will now also include players to access the Pandemonium Event and Uber Diablo content."
Blizzard states that to ensure server stability at launch, the game's first ladder season will come just a couple of days after the game's release but will not be available on the first day.
Diablo 2: Resurrected just finished its early access beta with an open beta planned to start on August 20. A minor change that will be made in the open beta based on early beta feedback from the early access beta is that the method for purchasing skills has been changed in order to make it necessary for separate button pressing.
This was done to stop players from accidently assigning skill points, beyond the one free respec earned by players in the game's first Act that reassigning the skill points is only possible further into the game, and with much more difficulty.
Diablo 2: Resurrected will release on consoles and PC September 23. The game's launch is scheduled to be released as Blizzard continues to grapple with the consequences of a state of California lawsuit that claims that their workplace has a culture of discrimination and harassment towards women.
Since the investigation in California, many prominent developers have left Blizzard and include the former Blizzard President J. Allen Brack and Diablo 4 game director Luis Barriga. Diablo 4 is cheap diablo 2 resurrected items currently in production and doesn't have an announcement date.
