What Does An Acceptable Current-Gen Version Look Like?

After all, the 2020 NBA Draft nor free agency won't have happened by the time current-gen NBA 2K21 is published. In fact, the 2019-20 NBA season will not even be carried out. Secondlyit would be foolish to presume 2K would wish to invest in improving the product visually if they stand to profit from delivering a next-gen version that'll be hyped up largely due to how amazing it seems. 2K and every other producer of yearly sports video games may want the difference between current and next-gen to be very noticeable from a visual standpoint. As a consumer, I'm fine with that approach.

Soundtracks are cool and all, but quite frankly, I struggle to find that the authentic long-term value in investing too much into this part of a game. That is an opinion that I'm sure some will agree with, and others might disagree. Nevertheless, we have already seen the soundtrack that will be in the game and based upon your own personal tastes, you are either elated, disappointed, or could care less about the songs included. I am good with what's coming on that front, and as far as commentary, I can wait for the next-gen models for a major leap in this area. Some really cool things could be done to make what's already very good opinion in the game even better.
