Once you're ready to go

When you've completed the main questline Lost Ark Gold in the continent of the first quest of Lost Ark, you receive the ship. From that point you're free to explore the seas in any direction you'd like. However, before you enthusiastically set sail to the nearest island, you should complete the blue World Quest on Tortoyk (northeast of Luterra) first. This will aid in getting up to item level 250, which is the minimum level recommended for the first Lost Ark islands.

Once you're ready to go, hover over the islands on the map and you'll see the recommended level for the item in addition to the number of Mokoko Seeds, the combat type (PvE or PvP) and the likelihood of acquiring the Island Soul. You'll also see the duration of the island's admission. Based on this, we could fairly break down Lost Ark islands into four kinds:

Permanent PvE Islands. The most frequent type. Just visit them whenever are feeling like it.

Time-limited islands. You are able to only access these islands at specific time periods. Select the island's name to view the timetable.

PvP islands. They're usually available on a permanent basis or scheduled, but there's always PvP combat on these islands. They can be identified by their cross-swords symbol on map.

Adventure islands. Special co-op occasions that take place only a couple of times a day.

Now, you've landed on your first tiny island. What now Although every Lost Ark island is unique the majority of them will be open to any of the following activities:

Complete quests. Sometimes it's an obvious exclamation symbol on the map, but the quests can also be hidden.

Visit NPCs and merchants. There are many islands that house traders and NPCs. These come with special rewards of their own So don't leave before you've seen.

Collect Mokoko Seeds. Yes, you'll find the tiny bugs in the Lost Ark Gold buy islands as well. Since the maps are tiny the islands usually have between two and five Seeds per island.
