But, it appears that an additional controversy is D2R Items bubbling up. The evidence is growing to suggest that cheating has already appeared in D2R Ladder less than a full day after the game's release on PC.
Some clips from Twitch streamer wudijo are believed to showcase a mighty cheating system utilized in playing The D2R Ladder's PvP mode 8v8 Battleground. The clips demonstrate the play of a Necromancer named Burn employing a cheater which allows players to use their Bone Spikes ability with no time limit,
effectively turning it into a channeled capability and inflicting massive damage. There's not a clear explanation of how the Necromancer can do the cheat, but they're capable of doing it multiple times, showing that it's clearly carried out with intent.
Twitch streamer wudijo fights Burn during multiple matches on both sides, as their teammate and their opponent. In one scene, the Necromancer has the ability to use the cheat to quickly kill the Sacred Guardian which is a PvE mob that needs to be defeated for the team to progress.
In what would take an additional 30 minutes for widijo be defeated an opponent, the Necromancer kills in 2 seconds. If wudijo is facing the Necromancer in a battle, wudijo is killed just as fast. However, since the cheat has to force the Necromancer to cheap D2R Ladder Items stand still while wudijo's team is able to kill him in trade.
