EA has since acknowledged that the Ones to Watch pre-order packs error and stated that it has confirmed the error via the official FIFA 23 Coins Direct Communication Twitter account:
We're expecting EA to address the impacted players by re-distributing the Ones to Watch pre-order packs that were in error in the initial order, and giving you the opportunity to claim an actual OTW card.EA will most likely allow affected users to keep the Gold products they received in the Ones to Watch pre-order packs.
It's a good idea to take the time to open Your Ones to Watch pack now and hope that you find a great bade Gold item that you can rest assured that EA will provide you with a free OTW player pack if your pack is faulty.

You'll have until Tuesday 11 October, to finish the Dest objectives and FIFA 23 Coins buy Friday, 14 October to complete the Gosens objectives, therefore these should be your top priority.
