The Patriots haven't made it to the playoffs in a game for more than four years, which, for New England, seems like a lifetime Madden 23 Coins. It's not as bad as you might think with what they're telling you in New England about the number of yards the Patriots defense gives up -- the defense is ranked 15th in scoring this is the most important statistic, but they'll have to demonstrate that their defense is able to improve when their offense runs into some of these defenses, such as defenses like the Broncos, Ravens or Texans.
The No. 2 seed is all the way to No. 5 , in our Madden NFL 23 playoffs power ranking. That seems very low. But take a look at the teams who are ranked higher than of them, and then figure out the teams that should drop. Ravens? Patriots? Perhaps, but those teams have played in playoffs before.
They've been through it before and they're familiar with what the playoffs are all about. I'm not going to knock the 49ers as they're more of an unknown right now. Maybe they'll dominate this weekend. Maybe they can beat the Saints this weekend and prove us wrong, but until they show me they can play on this level , I'll not rank them higher than some other teams.
I'm a big fan of the way the Giants are currently doing. It's almost identical to four years ago when the Giants played in the playoffs and took home they won the Super Bowl Buy Mut 23 Coins. They're an experienced group. Its defensive line strong and can be very difficult for the opposing quarterback.
