In a game where two players are compared, it's difficult to determine which one would win in an Barbarian and Wizard stand-off. It all depends of the space between the two as well as the Wizard being able to utilize many ranged attack options that the Barbarian doesn't have access to. A Barbarian within close range could take advantage of the Wizard's weakness to physical damage, however.
It appears that the Wizard was already at a low point with monsters likely to attack him from behind. When he was distracted from casting, the streamer took him down with a single strike to the face. The best part is that he doesn't appear to acknowledge it, and instead disappears.
One thing to keep in mind when playing as a Wizard is to keep a melee ally or ensure that you maintain a some distance between you and yourself.
