As it does each monthly FUT 23 Coins, Sony is releasing the most downloaded titles on the PlayStation Store for September 2022. The lists reveal the most popular PS4, PS5, PS VR and free-toplay games of the month both in North America and Europe, with no surprises in store this month.
Starting with PS5 Games, NBA 2K23 was the most downloaded game on PSN this month in North America, while FIFA 23 was the top game in Europe (which should come as no surprise given how popular soccer is in Europe). A different September release, The Last of Us Part 1 is ranked third in both regions.
In the transition to PS4, NBA 2K23 was top-rated game downloaded this month throughout the US and Canada While FIFA 23 took the top place in Europe. When it comes to PSVR games, Beat Saber was the top. #1 game both in North America and Europe, with Job Simulator and Superhot VR being ranked second and third in both regions.
For games with no cost to play that cover PS5 and PS4 all together, Fortnite was the most-downloaded game in the US and Canada, while Rumbleverse was the most played free-to-play game across Europe.
