Tarkov's 0.13 patch introduced an elongated Streets Map. Dark and Darker needs to adopt a similar strategy to its major patch in the near future. It's not necessary for it to be a new addition, such as an entirely new Dark And Darker Gold class or map however, a new weapon can make a difference to players and keep the game looking fresh even after the initial excitement is gone for casual gamers.

Similar to the beginning days of battle royale's popularity, there is a growing number of games that are reminiscent of Tarkov are aiming to be the "breakthrough" release that is mainstream. Dark and Darker might be one of them, given that the latest fantasy action game's beta was able to become virally famous. The players are now waiting to see Dark and Darker to return.
Dark and Darker is currently in mid-development and has a potential release date of 2023. which is expected to be in the late 2023. Dark and Darker's next alpha testing will officially begin in the coming Steam Next Fest event in February 2023. It's called the Next Fest is a Valve event in which independent developers present demos of their upcoming projects with the intention of attracting people who would be interested in their game, yet don't have the knowledge of its existence. It's an ideal opportunity for Cheap DAD Gold Dark and Darker. Steam's next Next Fest will run between February 6-13 2023.
