I'm not convinced that it will change anyone's strategy too much, but it's nice knowing that you're able throw in wildcard players and have more options for them to be connected to top division players.
Searching for the ideal midfielder to hit that coveted "33" chemistry is very similar to playing a Squad Building Challenge now, that's a bit of a deliberate. Squad Building Challenges are great ways to kill a few hours doing frankly nothing cheap FIFA 23 Coins, but EA's 'sudoku for football geeks' is best played on the companion app, far from Ultimate Team's unresponsive console menus.
