YouTuber Dropoff expanded The Lands Between with the addition of Boletarian Palace to FromSoft's latest Soulslike
Elden Ring Items modders just can’t stop tampering with FromSoftware’s latest Soulslike, adding a myriad of crazy things from jets and tanks to flying brooms and pocket monsters. While The Lands Between has already been an expansive location to die in, prolific Souls modder Dropoff has added a familiar location to the sport, one which long-time FromSoft stans will most likely remember perfectly.
The latest mod from Dropoff, a YouTuber who periodically posts videos from the absolutely bonkers stuff he creates for Souls games, recreated Demon’s Souls Boletarian Palace inside the world of Elden Ring. Many of their creations are unhinged fever dreams, for instance, they put Shrek in Dark Souls 2, made GTA: San Andreas’ Carl “CJ” Johnson a playable Elden Ring character, and added Dark Souls 1 armor sets to Demon’s Souls, among other things.

Shared by Elden Ring data miner Sekirodubi on Twitter, Dropoff ported the iconic Demon’s Souls level to Elden Ring. Exactly how Dropoff did this remains a mystery, but as evidenced by their YouTube video below, the recreation looks incredible. Sure, it’s full of exile soldiers, and hyper-aggressive, cloak-wearing, shield-bearing goons hellbent on guarding castles, however, the nostalgic vibes take a prescription point for anybody with the faintest memory of Boletarian Palace.
Boletarian Palace (also known as World 1-1) is to learn what you’re set for. It’s Demon’s Souls’ first real location, the location you end up in after dying towards the Vanguard tutorial boss prior to leaving the hub known as The Nexus. A huge stone castle featuring ramparts, stairs, and enough rooms that not even Siri could give you directions from, Boletarian Palace is the Demon’s Souls initiation to see if you can withstand the sport’s exorbitant punishment. Dropoff’s rendition from the location includes a few key differences, especially the exile soldiers everywhere and the sunlight that down around the typically dour stone walls, but otherwise, this appears like a faithful recreation of Proletarian Palace.
There’s really no telling what elden ring items players can get up to within this game that keeps on giving. The Lands Between is rife with nooks and crannies to understand more about, and modders love bending the sport’s code for their will. It’ll be cool to determine how much players still alter Elden Ring once we await the DLC, which is expected to dig into Malenia’s off-screen Empyrean brother, Miquella.
