Genshin Impact accounts announce a brand-new map function that can help players navigate their characters through underground locations.
Genshin Impact officially announces a brand new map feature which will arrive in the following major update that is expected to drop within the second half of August. Since the introduction from the Sumeru region, HoYoverse continues to be adding new underground parts from the map to everything about Teyvat.
These dungeon-like locations are often confusing and players frequently get lost because of the multiple pathways which could cause frustration during one of the most exciting activities within the game which is exploration. Over the last month or two, Genshin Impact continues to be slowly increasing the way the map works and version 3.4 finally changed the design from the indoor and underground Teleport Waypoints. However, based on a recent official announcement, HoYoverse intends to further enhance the way the in-game map works.
An official Genshin Impact announcement has revealed a brand-new map function that will arrive within the first Fontaine update. According to a Reddit post, Genshin Impact update 4.0 will introduce a Multi-Layered Map feature that will allow players to achieve more concise information about new and unlocked regions. Travelers can switch across multiple layers of the map which will allow them to obtain a better overall sense of their surroundings. This improvement got many players excited because it could also be among HoYoverse's methods to say the upcoming Fontaine region is going to be filled with underground locations.
The same announcement also mentions the developer will also enhance the overall quest system experience. After Genshin Impact update 3.8 ends, players will automatically start tracking their next Commission Quest in line with the distance along with other relevant factors after completing the present quest.
The next major update will even tackle one of the most frustrating in-game issues which are prerequisite quests. This is especially irritating for players that go back to the game after a month or two of not playing and frequently find themselves not able to continue the primary storyline as the sport requires these phones to finish other objectives before participating in a specific Archon or Story Quest.
Even though the present system names the prerequisite quests that players have to finish, it's very hard to find these quests within the menu or around the in-game map. This new feature will efficiently redirect travelers from one quest to another until they finish all their quests and may catch up to Genshin Impact's main storyline.
