Here are ten things that Diablo 4 won't tell you

The massive world in Diablo 4 is challenging and draining, so make sure you don't forget about these important features.

1 When Will I Be Able to Get That Mount?

You are able to try to interact with the stables where Lorath got a horse as soon as the Prologue tutorial is over and you have arrived in the main city of Kyovashad; however, you will discover that you are unable to purchase a horse from those stables as well. It does not matter if you purchased a special edition of the game or if you bought cosmetics from the in-game store; you will not be able to acquire a mount of your own until further notice.

Instead, you will have to spend a considerable amount of time making your way through the various Acts that make up the Main Story. Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3 can be tackled in any order you see fit, but you have to finish all three of them before you can move on to Act 4. When you finish the second main mission, "A Master's Touch," you will finally be able to unlock a Priority Quest that takes you to the stable where you can get your very own horse.

It's possible that as you begin to accumulate more and more gear, you’ll discover that certain outfits look better on you than others do. You are in luck because there is a way to personalize your appearance; all you need to do is figure out what to do with the old gear you have.

3. If you have rare items, don't sell them; instead, salvage them.

Imbuing Aspects will cost more than just Veiled Crystals once you begin to reach higher levels, and you will need to salvage spare Legendary Gear of each type in order to be able to make more of your own Legendaries.

1. Exploring the different regions of the game will typically lead you to come across a variety of World Events, which are short challenges that any nearby player can take part in

2.  These events can take place anywhere in the game

3.  You will be rewarded with a chest containing loot (of an even higher quality if you complete an optional objective), as well as a handful of Murmuring Obols, if you are successful in completing these

4.  If the event takes place outdoors, in cellars or dungeons, or it is a Legion Event that requires a large number of players, and if you complete the Mastery objectives, you have the potential to earn a significant amount of Obols for each Event that you successfully complete

You can only spend this type of currency at a Curiosities Vendor located within a town, where you can purchase unidentified items that have a chance of turning out to be Rare or even Legendary gear (or just standard vendor trash)! You can also buy Whispering Keys, which are required to open strange locked Silent Chests that can be discovered at random throughout the world. Because of this, it is important to carry a few Whispering Keys at all times. Since you can only store a maximum of 500 Obols (which can be upgraded slightly over time by increasing your Renown in a region or finding Altars of Lilith), it is always beneficial to spend them before you reach the limit and stop earning more from other Events that you participate in!

In the event that you come across strange weathered statues with barely legible inscriptions that hint at certain actions, you can perform the indicated emote in order to earn temporary buffs that will assist you on your journey. In a similar vein, particular Side Quests will frequently present riddles that are, in reality, connected to emotes, such as "The Secret of the Springs."When people tell you that you need "patience," what they really mean is that you should practice using the "wait" emote instead.

6. Adjust the Level of Difficulty for the World Tier

It is recommended that you begin your journey in the game at Tier 1, which has been calibrated to offer newer players an appropriate level of difficulty. But if you want the possibility of slightly better loot and experience, you can turn things up to Tier 2 and fight monsters that are about 20% more difficult. This will give you the opportunity to earn slightly better rewards. After you have completed the main story and all of its Acts, you will be able to begin working your way up to Tier 3 and beyond. This will allow you to participate in even more challenging encounters, unlock exclusive dungeons and events, and improve your chances of obtaining the rarest gear.

7: Strongholds Conceal a Number of Hidden Unlocks

After you have cleared a Stronghold of all its foes and brought the event to a successful conclusion, you will be rewarded with a variety of pieces of equipment. However, you may also discover that the location of the Stronghold has been transformed into an active settlement, with villagers returning to work on transforming the area into a place where people can live. You will now have a new location at which you can set up a base camp, complete with a variety of merchants at which you can make sales and a location that allows for quick travel. In addition, there is a possibility that new Side Quests will become available for you to complete, and in some cases, you may even find Dungeons that are inaccessible in any other way.

8: There Is Much More to Potions Than Just Stat Increases

The effects of early potions aren't all that impressive, but it's important to keep in mind that almost every potion you can craft or get as a reward also boosts the amount of experience you gain by a respectable amount. This is something you should keep in mind. Even better, the effect of this item lasts for thirty minutes, making it an excellent choice to use just before venturing into a Dungeon or beginning a more significant portion of the main story quests. Unless you intend to spend time in town perusing shops or deciding where to place your next skill point, you should make every effort to keep the effect of a potion active for as long as you possibly can.

After completing lengthy dungeons, whether by adventuring throughout the world or delving into caves and ruins connected to the narrative, you might not want to waste time by having to travel all the way back to the entrance of the dungeon. There are two choices available, which, fortunately, will make the journey back home a lot less difficult.

The first thing you can do is open up your radial menu, which you can do on a PC by pressing and holding the E button, or on a console by pressing and holding the Up button on the D-Pad. There is a button labeled "Leave Dungeon" that can be found among the emotes that you can use. Selecting this option will take you directly back to the entrance that is situated in the open world area. Make use of this option if there are still nearby locations for you to investigate, if you have a person to meet outside, or if you still have a significant amount of space left in your inventory.

If you need to return to a town to sell something, you can instead activate a Town Portal by pressing the letter T. This will allow you to warp directly back to the most recent major town you visited. If you leave town using some other method, the Town Portal will still be there for you to use if you ever decide to come back, but if you leave town using another method, the portal will be gone.

While there is a lot of loot and other prizes to earn as you vanquish demons and explore dungeons, there are also certain activities that will reward you with perks that aren't just limited to your current character. These perks can be used by any of your characters. There are certain things you can do that will benefit not only your current character but also any other characters you create on that server in the future, regardless of whether or not those characters have already been made.

In the open world areas of Diablo, there are a number of statues known as Altars of Lilith. Interacting with one of these statues will either raise your character's statistics or increase the maximum number of murmuring obols they can carry. However, this improvement will apply to all of your characters. If you are successful in completing dungeons, you will receive Legendary Aspects as rewards. These aspects will be saved in your codex and made available to all of your characters, even if the class you are using at the moment is unable to benefit from them. In the end, completing activities in each area of the game will allow you to earn Renown, which can progress through a number of tiers and confer benefits not only on the character you are currently playing but also on any future characters you create, such as additional experience points or charges for healing potions. Even if you wait until a later time to create a level one character, that character will immediately begin with an increase in the number of skill points they have available to allocate as well as an increase in the number of health potions they have available, making it much simpler to level up new characters.
