He'll then make you a sign of the area you choose. Wear the symbol and you will have the ability to pass into your region from the palace. To identify what region you belong to, simply opt for the doorway of their colour. If you are not wearing the emblem or you're sporting the symbol but you don't belong to the area, the guards will stop you. You can't un-equip your emblem while in your area. Your symbol will replace whatever is on your necklace slot.

Your region will have more of whatever your region believes in, so if you're at the Yun'lar region, it will have more complex defence and have more shields or armor to purchase from the mogre dealers and will have mogre armor, in Lannar you'll have mogre weapons and also have more weapons to buy from traders, Lu'tog will possess mogre toxin (a poison that could hit up to 13) and more poisoned weapons and Narran will have an under-water agility course and distinctive mogre suits that will raise cheap RS gold your chance in agility (you won't neglect an obstacle as much.)
