Daequan believes that by creating public testing servers, Epic Games could still try out new things, while getting feedback from players who would like to test new items or gameplay modes without changing the core game.“I really think Fortnite should get some public test servers,” tweeted Loco. “Just going to keep splitting the community if you keep doing these entirely game-changing tests in public servers every week. Let players who care about the game’s direction test things without stirring the pot.”
While Rocket League Trading tend to test new gameplay mechanics in-game, like the brand new Mounted Turret item which is wreaking havoc throughout the game right now, they have began to use the new Tournament mode as a way to test out different ways to play the game.One of these tournaments is the Scavenger Pop-Up Cup which was introduced in the V6.30 update, where players have a reduced material cap and gain 50 health or shield when they eliminate an opponent as a reward.The Pop-Up Cup is available now in the Tournaments portion of Fortnite, but is a Limited Time Mode, meaning it could be removed from the game at any moment.
