Swap Packs in Monopoly GO: How They Work

Scopely has introduced a new sticker pack called the Swap Pack in Monopoly GO. With this, you can now trade out stickers you don’t need for the ones you actually want before adding them to your collection.

Stickers are a big part of Monopoly GO’s gameplay. They help you unlock awesome rewards like free dice rolls, cash, shields, emojis, board tokens, and whatnot. The game also runs sticker albums that last for a month or two and have tons of sticker sets for fans to complete. As we mentioned earlier, the Swap Pack is a new addition to Monopoly GO’s sticker packs. Before its release, players could only collect five types of sticker packs based on rarity: green (1-star), yellow (2-star), pink (3-star), blue (4-star), and purple (5-star).

With regular sticker packs in Monopoly GO, tycoons are stuck with whatever stickers they get. But the Swap Pack changes the game by allowing you to redraw your stickers. This means you can swap out unwanted ones before they’re added to your sticker sets. Even better, the Swap Pack only includes three-star, four-star, and five-star stickers, so you are guaranteed some rare rewards.

When a Swap Pack becomes available, you will need to earn it first. These packs are often offered as grand rewards in minigames, like the Harvest Racers event.

After you open a Swap Pack, you’ll get a mix of stickers. But you don’t have to accept them right away. The game will show you a selection of random stickers that you can swap for the ones you initially got in the pack.

You can swap any Monopoly GO stickers, but you only get three chances to swap per pack. And yes, if you get a duplicate gold sticker, swapping it won’t guarantee you’ll get another gold one. Once you are happy with your stickers, you will need to hit the ‘Collect’ button to finalize and add them to your collection.
