Did you know that the term "RuneScape" is among the top five terms often searched terms on YouTube, is also one of the most popular phrases? We love looking at the latest RuneScape movies. They're so good they're so good that we've teamed up with OSRS Gold one of RuneScape's most talented machinima (films made with game engines) masterminds, TehNoobShow, to launch an online contest to find the most enjoyable player-created RuneScape video that has ever been seen by humans. You have two minutes to create an original video innovative in RuneScape.
The competition launches today, and you'll have until the closing date of August 25, to upload your videos on YouTube. YouTube website. Andrew Gerhard, Mark Gerhard, and some other members of the Community Management team will shortlist five finalists once all entries are received. These five videos will then be included in a RuneScape weekly poll, in which users can vote on their favourite.
The winner will be the video with the highest number of votes. They will travel at their own expense to Jagex Games Studio from anywhere in the world. Once there, they will meet the talented people who bring RuneScape alive. We will then send them off with a bag full of signed Jagex products. The top four runners will be awarded memberships, T-shirts that are signed by the winner, mugs and mouse mats.
All videos have to be made within RuneScape (live actions aren't considered machinima) and submitted via YouTube. Postbag and Gallery emails will not accept entries.
