That is a real question, would you rather have the personalities from NBA 2K21 MT Coins the narrative call you"Che" in every cutscene, or not mention your name at all? I'm really leaning towards not at all. Not at all although I would probably rather them add a choice of nicknames is fine by me. I think that they can't do this with the total amount of voice acting required. If that's true, I would like the narrative that was simple but still plenty of fun also allows more space. I remember that! The pre draft interviews were awesome. Decisions that ACTUALLY MATTER.
They would have to record every person who mentions your player's name stating every secondary nickname. If they could pull it off would definitely be a nice touch! Name a game which includes every casted A-list Hollywood voice actor record every one of the 100+ available nicknames then place edits every one into different cut scenes to load according to what you've chosen.I'm interested in. Using one allows it to be natural and smooth. Start dubbing in secondary nicknames, the cut scenes would sound as the shitty in game PA statements: Now shooting.THE DUDE.who went 10/10 final night.
2K leaning hard into creating MyCareer a legitimate RPG experience, which is something that I personally like (I'm also an avid participant of DnD, so this is my market ). That having been said, they ought to seperate MyCareer and Park that the people who want to play aggressive can do so without the unneeded cutscenes, and folks like me who like a narrative based mode that's heavy on the narrative (I also love Metal Gear btw) can appreciate that experience too. If the storyline wasn't basic and overly debilitating to get through, while this is unpopular I almost wish they didn't have voice acting so that they might have dialouge and cause it to be even more customizeable, I would prefer an RPG expirience.
I agree with you 100% (especially when it comes to 2K16/18/19), but I think the criticism for the years narrative is a little unfair. I liked it I only wish there was more to it. I really feel like I've tapped out all the cutscenes in about 30 games, and I have touched MyCareer within a couple of months due to that.
Also, just get rid of almost ALL of the cut scenes. Talk about a waste of time. The quantity of development time which goes that virtually nobody wants to sit through is such a waste that could go into different parts of NBA 2K21. I liked it. It gave an element of Cheap NBA 2K21 MT immersion into the life of an aspiring NBA player in the NBA simulator game. Albeit annoying to replay each time you make a new player, it can be skipped. Like they would have invested that time incorporating something else like, a neighborhood that is brand new, it's not.NBA 2K21 Suggestion- MyLeague Revamp
