I Believe if OSRS images were updated this would be the best look

Frankly, I think this would be the very best appearance if OSRS graphics were upgraded. No fancy 1st individual stuff or OSRS HD/Remaster. I believe this is the perfect appearance that does not stray to far from the classic look. Why the HD toggle isn't avail in RS gold 2020 really need something like this and no clue. I like OSRS how it is now. Yea I really don't have a problem with this, but I think the option to select is the best way to go about it, ya know? So you believe the already limited dev time is better spent on this than on game improvements or material updates? And then reducing the amount of future upgrades because of the OSRS team wanting to make double the assets for everything they do?

I believe it is intriguing that folks use this same debate like it's any merit when a match earning millions of dollars per year can't simply do both or something? Just like Jagex hasn't done this? Like is it or something? I am confused. It doesn't need to be just one or the other. They can do both. They can't do both in precisely the same time. Time spent making'HD' assets is time NOT spent game upgrades. They have done it earlier but it turned out to be a huge undertaking with a larger team that was quite divisive and not appreciated by as many players as they had hoped. I see no reason why they would be interested in doing it.

Nothing crazy is required to get OSRS something to look at, which I believe 2008 images did just. The best part is you had the choice. I think the main counter argument is that it means dev work, because I imagine a few or all resources would have to be made for both types. Unless it can be done procedurally without any development time added, I think that it may not pass a vote if it had been done in an official capacity. That said, I would personally love to be looking at 2008 or comparable HD images instead of what we have (enhanced by Runelite GPU ofc) now even if it meant delayed content releases. However, I know not everyone will share this comment.

It had been done by them before, there are individuals that are using it rn, there are solo programmers who've done plugins and such. It should not be hard to cheap RuneScape gold implement. A toggle option can take care of the mob not needing a change of this old way of looking. I believe having improved graphics would be rather helpful, to attract new players. Think in the long-term marketing strategy, do not be confined to the old thinking of no manpower bunch of upgrades boggled up. Man I remember running home from school because I had been excited by the RuneScape HD upgrade. If it'd rshd too I would mainscape OSRS.
