Sunshine Enterprises
Sunshine Enterprises aims to help high-potential business owners in neighborhoods with limited resources to grow their business, as well as improve their community. Incubatoredu
INCubatoredu provides students with the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship in a real way while they develop their own startup company. Students will be assisted by a mentor or instructor in every class, who help with their projects, such as removable foot pads that can be cleaned and apps for social networking.
The students will be taught how to develop their thinking as they move throughout the curriculum. This includes conducting market studies, research on customers and ideas exploratory exercises, building prototypes and pitching. The process encourages communication and problem solving skills in addition to teaching students to swiftly adapt to changes.
Each team competes for funding at the INCubatoredu National Pitch, which occurs every year. The opportunity offers teams valuable networking experiences with investors and insightful advice from business leaders - an event known for its Shark Tank-style pitch competitions.
