I can imagine that likely out PSO2 Meseta there we'll still see somebody wearing those old collaboration things even when they are not awakened to the very same criteria as new makeup in a similar manner and that there surely would have been outrage when it had been made obsolete or unusable. Collabs that have had their cosmetics removed nevertheless have their assets exist on the sport so those will likely still be accessible for jp players.
Only improvements we'll likely see is the new engine improving shadows, shadows, colors, particle effects and casting them from the outfits. You can have a look how just implementing better shadows and colours can improve old equipment by checking ReShade screenshots. I don't understand this type of mentality. Do you not play with these match because they're fun to play? Or would you play them with the concept that it is just"worth it" if these 100s of hours are carried over like it's some type of investment? I read stuff online like this all the time and it's so strange to me. It's a new game that brings new experiences to be appreciated. NG being announced doesn't somehow negate the pleasure of now playing PSO2. NG is slated to emerge in 2021, that could be over a year from now. That is so much time to relish PSO2.
Ummm we just got the game in NA some people didn't play JPN servers this entire time and now we're being told any progress we make from the version we just got will be for nothing if you want to play the new game. A number people are also spending some money in this type of the game. They need to have just never released this present variant in NA and just waited until 2021 with this particular one. I'd have never even begun playing if I knew a new version of a live service game was coming out. That is why Sega is a third party dev today instead of hardware manufacturer. They badly take you step forward and 2 steps back all of the time and it's frustrating. The entire life cycle for NA is starting so that it will not make sense at all. What's the purpose of this game? This is key information.
I mean, for a whole lot of us this match is just a fast log in, 5 minute every day, and then lobby idle until UQ, so this (not) new game won't really interfere with what some of us are already doing lol I enjoy this game enough that I will probably keep playing it even following NGS starts, especially if they're intent on supporting it until 2022. Also the jury remains out on how cosmetics and other jump things will be handled out of the vague announcement. Makeup, premium, and expansions are all character bound but we do not know if they will continue over, but buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta if they do then it will not be a complete waste of cash.
