The movie begins with a train arriving at the Mumbai Central railway station, where a family of five is travelling to Delhi to attend a wedding ceremony. The groom's family who are returning from the wedding are also travelling on the same train. As the entire party is getting down at Mumbai Central railway station, they see an armed dacoit running towards them. The dacoit snatches away all luggage including a black attache case, which belongs to Raj Malhotra, a young student from Delhi University.
