The hashtag became trending to No. 1 on Twitter which prompted an apology from the Madden franchise's director Sean Graddy.
EA has consistently provided upgrades to the mode from in 2020, yet it does not have the depth and immersion of other iterations of the same concept as other sports titles. Although the current franchise mode still isn't as great as many gamers would like however, it has been seen improvements.
EA Sports has confirmed that it will continue to release updates and support for Madden NFL's "Franchise" Mode after reports indicated that the publisher would never release further updates to it. In a statement sent to IGN, a spokesperson from EA Sports said more updates are coming as part of Madden NFL 22's live-service approach.
"We do not want to talk about rumors and speculation, but we're committed to improve Franchise as feature of our Madden NFL 22 live-streaming service, as well as beyond it," the spokesperson said. "This includes two planned Franchise updates that we'll deliver in Madden NFL 22. We'll be providing more details regarding the updates in the new year."
Sports Gamers Online reported recently that EA Sports opted to cancel any further updates to Madden NFL's Franchise mode. Madden's Franchise Mode has been a particular pain point for the franchise over the years, with players demanding more robust updates to cheapest madden 22 coins the game but not always getting what they need.
