Teenager hair loss

Hair loss may be a cause of concern for some people.

Hair loss in adolescence might suggest that someone is sick or not eating correctly. Drugs and medical therapies can also cause hair loss (such as chemotherapy). If a person wears a hairstyle that tugs on their hair for a lengthy period, they may lose their hair (such as braids). Genetic causes, hormonal imbalances, and underlying medical issues can affect teenager hair loss. Hair loss can sometimes be reversed with the right therapy.
