Valentine's Day is almost here, and it's sure to slip away before you've made all the necessary preparations. But unlike most, Nike got off to a fast start, putting the right fit for many of its shoes. This GTS 97 is the latest of many to come, offering lacy details through its brief. The embroidery of the shoes, imitating the aforementioned materials, depicts many romantic themes. Hearts and roses are all over the place, their lines rising against the canvas background with similar shades. This upper, while it looks simple, is made of a textile that can be easily customized, whether with dyes, markers, or something like that.

What the brand has created is surprisingly understated, far exceeding even the SS22 released by the Air Sunder Max. Unlike the 2020 Air Max 95, they don't seem to offer any deconstruction; instead, the construction is clean, not even so many frayed edges. The leather selection is a real showcase, and its worn finish is easily confused for a quick glance at the suede. In a grey and black colourway, the patina is quite striking, especially against the more refined mesh underneath.
