A combo of PSO2's annoying launcher and issues with the Windows Store resulted in a load of problems with PSO2 Meseta the original PC release. PSO2 Tweaker -- the fan-made instrument that players were using to play with the Japanese launch for ages -- has been updated to help alleviate the problems, but hopefully that will be unnecessary.

Phantasy Star Online 2's next big update is coming in August, and there is battleships inside for some reason

Considering that Phantasy Star Online 2 launched on PC at the West last month, I have played over 50 hours of it--and even I can't tell you exactly what the hell is happening in the trailer for its upcoming August upgrade. I'm not even talking about, like, a cool space battleship. This is literally the IJN Yamato, a WW2 Japanese battleship.

That is predictably baffling for PSO2, which has been out in Japan for more than years but only recently obtained an English localization. People who've played the Japanese version likely understand what is occurring here, but the NA version is several updates behind, and its story is pretty ridiculous anyway so I'm not certain whether the reason why these components explorers are fighting a battleship off the coast of Japan makes sense.

Despite this and the messy launch on the Windows shop, I am really enjoying PSO2's Monster Hunter-esque activity and intense amount of loot. But PSO2 is weird. What I am saying is that a lot of mechs fighting with a WW2-era battleship feels perfectly ordinary --and it does not really matter anyway because you don't play PSO2 for the story. You play it to your over-the-top combat and excellent boss battles.

Another neat bit of info, however, is that PSO2 will likely be coming to Steam or another storefront soon, as stated at the end of the trailer. That's good news if you are unwilling to dip into the Windows Store to perform it (though the majority of the issues have been fixed). If you want to play PSO2, I highly suggest getting the custom launcher made by its community. It negates the requirement for the Windows store and is simple to install. The wait is over for Phantasy Star Online 2's Episode 5. There's a new story, updated features and even a new class to enjoy. Episode 5 looks to be a substantial departure from Episode 4, as there are tons of new items to experience along with a new, higher level cap of 90 to reach. The very first Scion Class, Hero, is here. Unlike regular courses, there are requirements to unlock Scions, and they tend to play otherwise. To perform Hero, you must have any two level 75 courses before talking to Cofy to unlock it. It can't be used as a Sub Course nor possess one, so playing it means just using Hero. It will have quite an arsenal, even however, having the ability to use Swords, Twin Machine Guns and Talis efficiently. Since its a new class, there will also be a brand new Hero character that will help you out and provide you new quests to practice with. A new skill has been added; howeverit takes you to play through the story to unlock some of these. Dark Blast permits players to become one of four Black Falz, for example Hyunal or Angel, outfitted with unique, powerful attacks and buffs for a limited time. It's kind of like a Photon Blast, but far more impressive because you take on a different form. These forms can be leveled up simply by using them, and points may be spent to cheap meseta pso2 boost each form's skills.
