I will go a little off here, and wonder if this drove them for a significant loop. Kids (can be) more adapting and they certainly have a much smaller voice in regards to feedback.

For me personally it's not even that, it's that the second onwards profiles have restricted abilities. This fuckin blows and stop me from becoming the match. Otherwise I would've loved to share an island with my husband.

Personally, I enjoy sharing the island with my wife and daughter. I definitely understand wanting one yourself as well. As always, more options and flexibility are constantly better.

Yeah, if the two players were equal owners and could"advance" the island equally, it would be OK. I have it and cheap Animal Crossing New Horizons Bells my daughter is your island owner so there is nothing I could do unless she goes and does the quests. It is pretty stupid how they have it all setup.
