Every year, Jordan Brand provides a series of player-exclusive services to college teams. The Air Jordan 6 will be at the helm for the 2022 season; just as it is dressed in the colors of the University of North Carolina, its silhouette will also be waving the Oklahoma flag. Gone are the premium, exotic materials used in the 2021 Air Jordan 5s. Instead, the Trapeze takes on a retro, retro feel with a custom yellow sole and lightly scuffed leather upper. Here, the latter takes on a 'dark red' shade with an 'OU' mark in homage to the forerunner. What's more, the chenille patch on the lace shield displays "23" and the Jumpman logo, mimicking the custom varsity jackets that are often done.
