Yeah 2k second gen blew this out the water. This would have been a good regular update for a soccer match, but for a new generation upgrade this is pathetic, especially in contrast to what NBA2K is performing. The RFID/Next Gen Stats thing is the only genuinely new feature that seems worth anything, and even that's probably gonna get mangled from the animations . Sounds too legit. It is likely gonna be nothing noticeable while playing. I can't get hyped. I won't. The simple fact that the game comes from 2.5 months and EA was ready not to Mut 21 coins give a hands-on preview is frightening. NFL games are doing this"Next Gen Forged" and monitoring for maybe 2-3 years to my knowledge as they broadcast it during games. And this is only now to be implemented to create players seem"more real" and"true to life".
HOW HAS 2K MASTERED TRUE TO LIFE ANIMATIONS SINCE 2008! I won't believe it til I see gameplay that is not put out there by EA but the consumer that does not understand how to activate the things that they want to buy Madden nfl 21 coins reveal to sell the same merchandise for the previous 4 years. Take the"next-gen" away from all of their bullet points for this upgrade and you've got the same recently touted attributes as every single year. . Increased player movements and whatever else they are pushing in the trailer means nothing when the actual animations will be the same. I will admit, some animations seem better this year but most still look pretty bad/old. It all actually has to be revamped. I'm interested in the"Living World" features I read in Brian Mazique's article; appears that sidelines are enhanced fairly substantially with offensive players on the sidelines while shield is out (& vice versa), along with injured players in street clothes. Should be interesting.
