I'm currently undergoing training in pyrefiends making use of the following equipment

I'm currently undergoing training in pyrefiends making use of OSRS Gold the following equipment including the Archer Helm/Helm of Neitiznot blue D'hide body, blue D'hide chaps blue d'hide vambraces Ava's Accumulator, dragon boots, amulet of glory, mithril arrows and magic shortbow. It's worth noting that I mentioned above that my ranged levels are currently at 57 (not that far away from my goal of 58) and my defence score is 64. Any suggestions for what gear to put on, which weapons to use and what to train on would be greatly appreciated!

So, i went back to Runescape this morning to realize that things have changed by ALOT, Mages have as much armor and Hp. As Meleers have skills, abilities, an action bar and many other things which has left me with some questions that i require help with:

What are the best boots for Melee? ( After a great deal of study, I discovered that highest stats are on Mage's batwing shoes, are there better boots? are there any risks to wearing them for melee?)

Why should i put on rune gloves when Blue Dragon vambs and Batwing gloves are the same, but are considerably cheaper? What is the reason I should wear rune armor in the first place? ( Other than Vs Ranged) Is it me or did the latest changes make Melee the most underdog of PVP? Can someone who only plays Melee do pk well? ( and what is the best set for him to accomplish that?) Are it possible to make the Amulet of Str useless now? ( I'm not sure about the whole critique thing) Thank you for reading my question.

This is why I am making a new list of Adventures for my next skill log. I'm not sure at this time what I really want to pursue. I'm trying to Cheap RS3 Gold avoid "getting the 99!" because I'm not that way haha. I prefer more tangible goals/etc over getting a 99.
