I enjoy the buildout of the city, and I think the new NPC's add some life to what was, at best dull space. I'd like be able to Cheap NBA 2K22 MT swiftly travel to locations apart from my place occasionally, but it finally feels like a lively and vibrant place. This is something I don't think I've ever done before.
The 2K22 city is more populous than ever... it's bigger than ever... and that's not necessarily a good thing. It's like this team of 2K players is working on an NBA-themed MMO. The game has daily challenges scattered throughout the city, and you're asked to travel from one spot to the next to attend the purpose of a meeting.
However, it does take away from the most important feature of 2K22's game play on the court. I'm not sure I want to waste 45 seconds skating from my home to a shoe store just to upgrade my appearance. It's better to do it through an easy menu that requires a single button press so I can get back to my basketball.
The City upgrade eliminates what was 2K21's greatest upgrades - the removal of load times. Even on PS5 you'll wait for hours every when you're looking to leave your home or go to the practice facility. The City is just an uncomfortable experience everywhere and proves that larger doesn't necessarily mean more.
My opinion is that it's been incredibly destructive. It's almost like the defensive approach on this particular court is more effective than it has been in NBA 2K MT the past. It's a lot easier to move around the court and actually avoid your task this year. It's also refreshing to see less dramatic contact dunks this year. That was exhausting in 2k21.
