The gear should include: Barrows gloves, from RFD. Dragon boots. Full slayer helm, black mask until you get it. Proselyte armour if you use prayers RuneScape Gold, and barrows if don't. Whip, and try to acquire a chaotic rapier as soon as you can. Dragon defense, antidragon shield for Dragon-related tasks (DFS is not enough, so don't try to use one).
Amulet of glory, try to make a fury as soon as you can. Ardougne cape 3, or soulwars cape. Although it's interesting isn't it a bit counterproductive to the point of slaying? Part of the enjoyment of learning to Slayer is learning new ways to defeat every challenge, sure, fine. However, isn't the goal to make money? I'm sure that eventually, prayer potions would rise in the price to the point that I'm losing money, wouldn't it?
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. Even with prayer potions , one can probably make money from slayer, they are fairly cheap. With just the drops you will make money, and If you don't, then getting Slayer Dart runes from the slayer master for 35 Slayer points (you get 36 slayer points when you finish two tasks at Kuradel) is about 70k, which can result in substantial cash if you decide to spend your money on this instead of blocking or cancelling tasks.
Are bandits a good option to learn yet, or should i start with Giant spiders at the strength of the hold until 70 def before I switch to bandits? Sumona requires 85 combat and Smoking Kills, that you must complete in case you're interested in slaying.
Chaeldar is a game that requires 70 or 80 combat (i don't recall) along with access to Zanaris. Black Mask can be readily obtained by GE for about 100k. It's required to create the Full Slayer Helm anyway so don't believe it's a waste of money. You can buy the uncharged models. I dont pray during slayer since im not a very effective slayer RS3 Gold, but maybe other people know more.
